We now look back and review the last annual congress of the society which was held in Rostock this year. Many thanks to everybody who contributed to the meeting with presentations, abstracts and workshops, shared their expertise in key note lectures and thus helped to create a better understanding of what intramedullary nailing can do in orthopaedic surgery.

Welcoming more than 230 participants and experts from around the world, the congress brought our international community together for a robust three-day scientific program featuring 111 oral presentations, including keynote and instructional lectures. It was an exceptional opportunity to exchange knowledge, share clinical experience, discuss challenging cases, and explore new directions in trauma care.
